Ouch, I've been hearing a lot of good things about Metro 2033 as well.

A lot of people seem to think it's a great game. One of the years best tbh.

Wow, the Move feels like ancient news now. Poor print media.

Can it be? A disagreement?
Personally, from what I've played, I've yet to warm up to it.

You want my Best of prediction? Unless something pants soilingly awesome comes out in the later half of the year, I predict another Bionic Commando: Rearmed situation. That was the best game of 08... or the only game I liked enough to remember.

This year: Rocket Knight! Totally calling it right now. :)

Surprised you're not in love with it tbh. You thoroughly enjoyed Wolfenstein and FEAR 2, and this feels a lot more polished and designed than either of those two.

I know. It's quite worrying. :(

Give it more time, and soak up every little detail. It's unlike most recent FPS games, so maybe that's why. I love the feel of it though, with the combat being so visceral and the setting feeling quite fresh. Hope you'll end up enjoying it a bit more.

Btw, you heard about FEAR 3? It's not developed by Monolith (Day 1 Studios :?) and it features some form of Co-op. Might as well go update the thread actually.
