This is a true story. I work for the NPD Group, its a market research company based in the States. 5 years ago I travelled to Germany on business to meet a colleague. We did not meet before and we did not know what the other person looked like. At arrivals there was no sign for me. So I had a brainwave - I made a placard and wrote NPD and held it aloft over my head.

I got some pretty weird looks from Germans. Why is a smiling foreign looking dude carrying a placard of the fascist party
