Sad to see such an established IP as Resi Evil nose dive so hard. Great that a new IP like Dishonored can be so universally accepted and loved though and the fact it has no form of multiplayer or coop to do so either makes it all the more sweet. A single player experience that reminds us all why playing on your own can still be fantastic. Just when we all thought those days were over too.

I'm a big fan of Edge covers, but I'm finding them to be a bit lacking as of late.

7 for FTL. ohh - that is a tad low. Not played it myself but was expecting an 8 or 9

Its not the cover I am worried about - its all those pages inside. Is Edge still pretentiously up its own arse ?

FTL deserves more than a 7. It doesn't matter that there's only 60 or so events, that's still quite a lot considering the size of the game, and you'll never get the same ones per playthrough. The whole draw of the game is numerous playthroughs to try and tackle the events different ways each time, unlocking new ships as you go. It's not Guild Wars 2, you're not meant to be drawn towards thousands of unique events. You keep playing because of that new ship with those new systems that you might unlock next time.

Also, cursing the randomization for being too hard is really missing the point of the Rogue-like genre.
