I really wish the game industry would get their collective heads out of Kojima's butt. I haven't watched this latest trailer, but if it is anything like the first one it will be a load of old toot.

First guy (is that someone? It zooms in and people went woop like it was) looks real janky, Mads looks awesome!

I like the imagery, I'm still in.

I can definitely see the resemblance, and he *was* working with Kojima on the cancelled Silent Hill game.

It's definitely fueled my curiosity, but then I tend to enjoy Kojima's overall presentation. Clearly it revealed very little about the game, other than there seem to be reanimated humans involved (the 'del Toro' character seemed to have had his skull opened at some point, given the scar across his forehead). They've captured Mads Mikkelsen's sinister face beautifully.

I couldn't tell if the fleshy tentacles were just on the tank or whether they came out of it. MYSTERY.

I'm still not convinced there's a game here.
The whole thing continues to Feel like Kojima is just calling in his film / music industry buddies to help make some artsy (at least in his mind) videos to lash back at Konami. :P

Okay, so... I've been noticing a trend in Kojima's games... I think he thinks that war is really bad.

Well done Kojima =D>

I'd be happy with just an artsy game. Kojima might not quite have the perfect gameplay in his works, but he's still an absolute visionary when it comes to many other aspects.

This looks to be another one of his meta mindfucks. Fantastic stuff.

Artsy eh? He refered to MGS2 as a post-modern video game, wonder if he'll attempt that again with Death Stranding.
And you know what? I wouldn't' mind. Replaying and thinking about MGS2 recently has made me appreciate it's strange take on the world in the plot and its alarmingly accurate depiction of social media's role in accepting certain truths. Memes, maaan.

MGS2 is really the best game he's made from an artistic perspective. There's so much analysis online about it, exploring the ideas behind the control of information, virtual reality and such. I just love how he packs so many layers into his games and then adds so much stupidity over the top of it, like soldiers with diarrhoea, or a fat bomber on rollerblades, or a scene where you're sneaking under a walkway and a guard pisses on you.

Like I said. Visionary. -_-
