360 and PS3 versions shitcanned due to 'quality concerns'...

http://community.wbgames.com/t5/Officia ... m-p/750024

After months of development, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has come to the regrettable conclusion that we cannot release Mortal Kombat X for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Please know our teams worked diligently to meet the quality standards set by the current-gen versions of the game. We were not able to get the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions to the quality expected of a Mortal Kombat game and are very sorry for not being able to deliver the products as originally planned.

If you pre-ordered Mortal Kombat X for PS3 or Xbox 360, please go to the retail location where you pre-ordered the game and you will receive a full refund.

Mortal Kombat Pack 2, details maybe tomorrow.
https://twitter.com/noobde/status/639175597017726976

I understand the drip feeding of dlc to keep the game/community alive, but for various reasons I just find this insulting to gamers/consumers in general.

I may get this during a sale, but after having things break after each character release from Kombat Pack 1 and fixed days/weeks later on PC I'm hesistant/apprehensive of immediately buying.

I wonder who could be in it. Surely not the already modeled characters from the single player game -_-

Today Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment confirmed that NetherRealm Studios is developing new downloadable content (DLC) for Mortal Kombat X, the best-selling game of 2015 to-date according to US NPD. The new content will include four new playable characters, skins and a new environment, all of which will be available in the first half of 2016.

Xenomorph looks stupid as fooooook!

Looks like Triborg will have a Cyrax mode so... that.... means I'll have to buy this :(

(when its £2 on cdkeys ¬_¬)

edit:
By the way, anyone tried playing this lately? Performance has dropped a whole shit load when I tried a month ago. Used to run maxed out smooth as butter but I had to drop everything down to stop it chugging. Theres probably been a 4gig patch since then, must give it another spin.

I think the Xenomorph is a cool idea/addition to the Predator.

If the kombat pack includes all the four characters at once, then I'm tempted to get it otherwise if it's a character per week or two then I'll probably wait for summer sale considering SFV is about a month away.

I recently played it on PC for the Christmas & New Year living tower challenges and it gameplay was fine for me.

I've recently been able to play it, but I have it all set low so I can't really comment about performance on the higher end of the spectrum.

Just tried a match online, I was dispatched without mercy. I'm one of those folks that can pull of some nice combos when nobody is actually fighting back!

Also, Triborg looks minted. The Xeno is a kinda cool idea, better than Leatherface and Bo Rai Cho anyway.

No thread about this that I found so er this didn't get bought much by those here?

Anyways all future support for the PC has been binned

http://techraptor.net/content/mortal-ko ... oned-on-pc

If you’ve been excited for an Alien vs Predator smackdown on your PC, I’m afraid you’re going to have to stick to the FPS games, because you sure aren’t getting it from Netherrealm Studios. According to a post from community specialist Tyler Lansdown on Testyourmight.com, PC gamers are being left behind with all the work that is being done to update Mortal Kombat X like the upcoming Kombat Pack 2, the beta to improve the netcode of the game, and the upcoming compilation edition Mortal Kombat XL. Mortal Kombat XL is being released March 1 for Xbox One and Playstation 4, and will include both Kombat Packs as well as the base game for $29.99 but as stated will not be arriving on PC.

Warner Brothers are really trying to get the same Recognition as EA/Ubicunts with the pc crowd

It's in the Console folder but it isn't particularly active. This is still ridiculous, nonetheless!

Disappointed, but I can't be bothered to care too much about it. This is the second time I've seen a Netherealm Studios game screw over it's customers. First was when Injustice came out & two weeks later it was discounted (quite significantly if I remember correctly) for the game of the year awards.

I don't think they have a say if the PC gets support still or not. This is more from WB not wanting to.
