From now on Microsoft will be adding all their title they publish to their Game Pass on the day of release. So for £7.99 a month you will be able to download Crackdown 3, State of Decay 2 and Sea of Thieves on release day, plus anything from Gears, Forza or Halo they might release.

They’re determined not to be in last place for a third console in a row aren’t they? That’s tempting me to get an X1 now despite my massive backlog.

Does game pass work on PC as well with play anywhere? It’s unclear.

It'd be worth it if they actually made any first party games. No amount of marketing tricks or offers is going to get around the fact that they simply don't have enough developers making exclusives.
