Cop car thing? I've missed out on GT5 online entirely due to shoddy PS3 wi-fi.

There's a Nissan Skyline Pace Car (Standard model) you can buy thats got lights on the top (they don't work or anything) but you'll find some servers whereby you have to commit to travelling on the left hand side of the road at a constant 70MPH or a player in a Skyline pace car will bash you off the track.

Some servers advertise it and thats fine because then I avoid them. Some don't then get pissed off when I zoom past 'em.

I'll get this. The series peaked with 4 for me. 5 seemed more of a let down the more I played and its the only one I never 'completed'.

I don't get it, what's the point of that?

But I mean literally, why would anyone do that? Maybe there's some sort of trophy for 500km online driving or something? Got to be a reason.

Bah, exited all over again. The use of Amon Tobin in the trailer was pretty sweet.

Hmm...can't help think I would rather have some actual challenge in the game rather than a new aero model and "Adaptive Tessellation".

I haven't played GT since number 4 now but i'm really looking forward to this one when it comes out, Certainly looks like improvements have been made.
So Please don't tell me you're having a lousy day.

Very wise - you've missed the troublesome but occasionally brilliant 5th iteration - the 6th is shaping up to be everything 5 should have been.

A pleasant surprise - the last GT Academy I downloaded was one car and one track. This has loads of stuff! Some nice visual improvements - the shadow jaggies are far less of a problem (at the expense of sharpness, but it's a good compromise) and the low-res smoke culling behind objects is completely gone (by far the ugliest aspect of GT5's visuals). Physics are better, but coming off months of iRacing it just feels laggy, and I desperately want to disable the wheel and arms from cockpit view because it highlights the lag even more. Loading times are superb now. Audio is... still an issue.
