I remember the last time I used it having a bit of an issue with getting a Wiimote to work, but other than that it was pretty flawless. I think I still have it on one of my drives somewhere.

You're doing it wrong, you emulate it to *not* use the Wiimote! ;)

I went through the process originally to try and get Skyward Sword to look more friendly, graphically, so I needed the Wiimote for that.

I'm still surprised they're proclaiming something that I think the Gamecube could have run as a major release. Starfox has always been a bit simplistic, gameplay-wise; does this really have that much going for it, or is this something they just threw together to show that they're not just abandoning the Wii U?

It's basically a game for all those who love StarFox I think. It has a certain look which I think the fans don't like to see changed so it was never going to look amazing graphically.
