LOS ANGELES--A Heavy Rain follow-up called Beyond will be unveiled during Sony's 2012 Electronic Entertainment Expo press briefing this evening in Los Angeles, MCV reports today. The site's mystery "publishing sources" indicate the game--to be revealed by Quantic Dream boss David Cage--will be narrative-focused, feature motion controls, and be exclusive to PlayStation.

Lets hope motion controls are optional.

If so...

I hope a child gets lost at some point in it so you can keep shouting his name. I'm dead serious.

I'll still get..... when I have time to play it. I've enjoyed all their previous games despite the *really* bad bits. The lack of the Heavy Rain character deaths sounds like a step back but its also not a story as much as her story this time I guess. Nomad Soul is still their best though - so loved that janky piece of shit!

Just finished it. I'd hesitate to call it a game, but whatever it is, I thought it was spectacular. Ellen Page is the best actress out there at the moment.
