Do it. I regret playing it on Normal.

'Survivor'. It's a very different game, extreme limitations on ammo/items, and Listen Mode is disabled.

It's a different game if you disable it, but not necessarily a better one. :P

Wow, this game is pretty good. Very atmospheric, but then I've reserved myself to only playing at night with all the lights out, so that probably contributes to it.

There's something really disturbing about these infected that really freaks me out.

Don't overlook the multiplayer, it's real hard but very good.

DLC is out next week. IGN preview says it's a little on the short side but the quality is just as high as the full game. Can't wait...

Won't be able until tomorrow probably. Is it really only 2 hours long?

I hope they eventually port this game to other formats, it deserves to be played by everyone.

Yep, around 2 and a half. But there's no filler and its dense with content. So so many wonderful moments like that bit and that bit that I want to tell you about but dont want to spoil it! As long as you like Ellie as a character youll love it.

See the stuff folk ya about Gone Homes price/quality/length? It's like that but actually true :p

Really enjoyed the DLC!

Probably my last PS3 game for a good while. A cracker for the system to go out on. :)

Is it safe to start spoiler tagging things, or will people just click them with reckless abandon?

Ah fuck it!

SPOILARZ! Dont be a knob, play it first ¬_¬

Ok I just adored the
Spoiler: show
Angel Knives bit! It was so incredibly simple yet so well done. A strange little idea that you wouldnt think would work but did oh so well! I played that whole but with my mouth half open have grinning from ear to ear half expecting them to drop models on the screen but it never happened and was perfect for it.

Then the joke shop bit that had more content in it than most whole games  "Skeleseer can suck mah dick". Just the sheer number of times you can use the skull and later the pun book etc.. you keep thinking it will just be one or two but its like 10-15!

Oh and the water gun fight, how tense was that shit?

My absolute favourite moment was probably when she pulls out the pun book and gives it to Ellie though, I love her reaction ^_^

I've heard people complain about the combat, specifically the end section but I really liked all of it thanks to the Doom infighting. Lure the clickers into the humans and stealth about picking off folk that arent paying attention, it was great! Only took two tries to finish the last bit, took me longer to do the generator bit but maybe thats because I was so out of TLoU combat mindset having not played it in months.

There are obvious similarities go Gone Home - mostly just exploring (in the past) and the obvious change of heart to the end but I'm sure it was in development long before Gone Home hit and it also did everything way better than Gone Home. I think GH is probably the most over rated game of the last year or maybe much longer because the game itself is bloody awful its just resting in a bed of nostalgia and a thread of forced sentiment that I would have been pissssed if I payed the asking price for (got it free on IGN prime -_-). Left Behind just felt so natural and brilliantly put together.

If tLoU came out in 2012 and this came out last year it would be in serious running for my GOTY.

Been thinking about it a whole lot since completing it.

There's been talk about/demand for sequels or more DLC. Fuck that.

Leave it alone with this being the game's beautiful swansong. =D>
