Some random European Nintendo Club people have received a very special email...
New Nintendo 3DS Ambassador Edition goes on sale
They can now get a N3DS early, for £179.99. The 'Ambassador' part gets them exclusive faceplates, not GBA games.

I got a VIP DS back in the day like this. Lost it when my house was robbed a few years later. Cool story man.

Inevitably eBay is rammed with them.

They seem to be going for £250-300.

SEGA has added three more titles to its second batch of 3D re-masterings for 3DS: Streets of Rage 2, Gunstar Heroes and Sonic The Hedgehog 2.

These games will follow the releases of 3D Fantasy Zone 2 which is releasing on April 16 and 3D Thunder Blade on May 14.

Each game in the series has been re-mastered in 3D and optimized for the platform.

All games in the series will include new modes and features with each priced at $5.99/€4.99/£4.49.

Well, that does it. I've officially gone daft.

First off, I picked up a New 3DS today. £155 for system and a game (not including a fiver for the charger #-o ).

The bundle choices included New Super Mario Bros. 2, Pokemon, Mario Kart 7, Animal Crossing and Luigi's Mansion 2.

But no.
I got Tomodachi Life. Because why have a good game when you could have a strange little toy for Miis to run about in?

Ugh. Ugh! Curse my curiosity.

Doesn't help that there was a Wii U bundle for 5 quid more. Both have a stack of games I'd like to play on them and I was just flipping a coin on which system to go with. Went 3DS in the end as I've already got enough "big" games to play between the PC and various Xbox I've got hanging about.

Any way, that was my excitement for the next few weeks.

Hyrule Warriors in coming to 3DS. A trailer put up on Youtube was the source, but it has since been taken down as it appears it went up a few days too early, probably spoiling one of the surprises Nintendo had saved for E3.

Nothing E3 related.
Just want to re-state my opinion that the sound that plays when you select Face Raiders is that of a ghost jakey.

You hear it all the time in Falkirk, accompanied by the faint sound of mournful clattering Buckfast bottles.

That's always been niggling away at the back of my head, "what is that sound?"

I'll never be able to hear it any other way now.

Guess who just plonked down 55 quid, sight unseen, for a copy of Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer and 5 packs of the collectable Amibo cards?

This guy! Yeah! 8)

*sad trombone*

Was going to get Halo for my big October game, but considering that I've not finished Halo 4 and how much time MGSV is taking up, figured I might go for the next best thing.

Well, at least I'll admit to going off the deep end.

But... but... cute animal interior design game!
And you collect cards that you use to get new clients and host little parties with them? C'mon! C'mon!
