Happy anniversary to our glorious leader

Postby Snowy » Thu Apr 26, 2018 6:36 pm

So Dave let slip (well, kinda announced :)) on Discord earlier that it is his and Mrs Prey's 20th wedding anniversary today.

Have a great one mate, both of you. As I am sure many have said, she'd get less time for murder :)

WOW 20 years! Well done to the both of you.

It must be love. Either that or one of you holds some incredibly incriminating evidence on the other. Which lets be honest is what all good marriages are built on really. :P

My sincerest apologies for missing this (and the Birthday thread before it) but thank you very, very much for the kind words. I don't need to say that Marriage is and shall always remain a severely perplex and at times soul crushing/testing thing when two complete opposites come together and personalities at the very best of times can clash quite a bit. You can also safely bet that at some point down the road the two of you will end up spending an hour arguing over the tv being too loud, whose turn it is to put the bins out, why the fuck the heating is on so high on a summers day or whether we should have pizza or chinese but there's always love, support and dedication there behind it all. It's a team effort every single day even if it does mean two nights a year you may just end up relegated sleeping on the sofa watching babestation skanks at 3am and no matter how hard you try you just can't seem to finish what you started, if you get my meaning. Love you guys. Thanks.

No one said it would be easy.

I always seem to take the easy option and walk away despite the devastation I leave behind. Is that a bloke thing? Perhaps I should care more?

You show more strength and determination by working through it. Congrats.
