Mentally I still think of myself as a fat bloke, which I am to an extent but you know what I mean, and I get really self conscious when wandering around in a t-shirt because it still feels to me like I've got a huge gut sticking out. I'm hoping that figures itself out soon.

Guess I had the opposite. Never thought I was fat, quite clearly was. Still don't think I'm fat and I guess I'm not so fat anymore but don't think I'm thin by any stretch. Must admit I do catch myself in the bathroom mirror and wonder where the hell my mind was that I wasn't physically aware of my own bulk.

Odd stuff.

To be honest Boggy I suffer the same. I saw a picture of myself from 2014 when I was terrible and it was an utter shocker compared to now. Unfortunately for me, a lot of weight goes on my face and I have a double chin and generally looks awful. Managed to reduce it quite well but I'd have to starve myself to get rid of it completely. Oh well, one of life's curveballs.

I feel you, man. I've known all too well the horror of having perpetually pinch-able cheeks.

I've stopped weighing myself because the numbers were becoming meaningless, but today marks the day where I've completed my trip from wearing XL t-shirts all the way down to Small. I still feel like a lard arse even though I can't get any smaller than...'small' because these damned bones are in the way.

Maybe if I...

So there's an upside to spending exorbitant amounts of money on electricity. None left to buy food.

It's the new diet sensation that's sweeping the nation!

Ha, if only. I've been tactically shrinking my clothes in the dryer for the past 6 months. Spending 15 quid on a new t-shirt felt like a shopping spree after that.

Qwertee is your friend. They usually have a buy one get one free thing going and the designs are mostly pretty cool.

I'm a plain tee kinda guy these days. I don't want people reading my tits.

I've had a fairly bad week, with an excessive amount of cake and ice cream being consumed. The irritating thing with being a "healthy" weight is a few pounds up or down becomes super noticeable, probably not visibly but I can certainly feel it. Back on the wagon from tomorrow.

Same, this weekend has been bbq, beer and only a little walking, so no where near my usual level of activity.
Plus today I cannot be arsed to settle into some yoga so will have to kick my arse tomorrow...

No, I just got home.
Work ended at 7 because someone downed network interfaces on a server and muggins here leapt to the rescue, instead of saying "you should log an incident...."

Then "nipped" to my parents to mow the lawn, it took me 10 minutes to figure out how the fuck to start my mums Merc (depress brake) to get it away from the garage, let alone get the handbrake off (handle near the steering wheel), her mower is shit too so that took 30 minutes to do the tiny back garden.
Now I'm home, hungry and DESPERATELY want a beer. But there is still a 1 hour HAM workout in my future. The arse kicking is yet to come.

Your parents expect you to go to their house after work and mow their lawn?

Perhaps they should hire a weekly gardener...
