Well, I regret taking the warnings so lightly.
How many times over the past few years have we heard about Weather Bombs in the media? Huge amount of hype, only to have them not be anywhere near as terrible? On Wednesday, I looked at the snow and amused myself greatly by muttering "Beast from my arse, more like."

Who's laughing now? I mean, I still am because a bit of toilet humour goes a long way with me. But the snow is even higher this morning and, with only enough food to get to Monday, it's not quite as funny anymore.

Let's hope the situation changes sooner rather than later.

All the snow melted today. Snowpocalypse my arse. It's basically summer next week too.

Went out for a walk, it's 2 foot deep in places.

There is also zero chance of my car getting off my drive, let alone out of my street.

Spent 2 hours digging my car out to go to the cinema today and I probably wouldn’t have made it were it not for seven helpful hipsters that came out of nowhere and gave me a mighty shove. Good chaps!

Same here, main street is cleared but I live at the very end of a long cul-de-sac and it's like the Arctic.☃️

Has really started to thaw here in the last couple of hours, can see the grass now, and while paths are slushy it's not turning to ice.

Reckon it'll all be gone by Monday.

Starting to melt here too. Managed to clear the drive and start the car up. Was concerned with where the wind was blowing the snow there might be issues, thankfully not. Unfortunately can't do a lot more outside, the temperature keeps fluctuating and the air quality sucks for an asthmatic (super sensitive tells me when it's crap).

Netflix day then.

7 degrees and sunny down here now. Just went for a pleasant walk, didn't even need a scarf.

People are still being dicks in the supermarket though. You don't need 10 loaves of bread!

I've found with the gale force winds and this mega light weight snow it's managed to get itself into places where it's causing problems. Somehow its managed to get into the spine of my conservatory and is now melting and dripping. Same with the attic I noticed a considerable pile of the stuff inside along the leading edge where the wind was blowing. I'd encourage you guys to have a look also just in case.

Yeah we discovered a certain portion of the attic was caked in it yesterday. Never experienced that before.
