Fantastic story about someone meeting Moore as a child and then decades later as an adult:

What a great story. They don't make em like that anymore. Very sad to see him go hope his latter years were kind to him.

Depending on your age, he is James Bond. Much like Tom Baker is Doctor Who (mid 40's here).

John Noakes dies at 83

For anybody over a certain age (like me) he was an indispensable memory of their childhood. Doing everything on Blue peter that the rest of the team were too timid (or not mad enough) to do, he was the spirit of adventure in the show. When he left, he kept on doing the same in "Go With Noakes". If I had a quid for every time I heard him say "get down, Shep!" I'd be driving a Porsche now.
R I P John.

Bodger of Bodger and Badger fame has died:

I've still been known, on occasion when the wife is cooking the relevant foodstuff, to walk through the kitchen chanting "mashed potay mashed potay mashed potay... mashed potay mashed potay mashed potayTOES!"

Yes, living with me is a constant delight.

RIP :(

I used to watch Bodger and Badger all the time as a child. RIP, and RIP for badger too, who must have died a while ago because they don't live that long as far as I know.

I LOVED Babylon 5 when it had the above characters.

Man, the Babylon 5 cast really haven't fared too well. We've lost Dr. Franklin, G'kar, Garribaldi, Zack Allan, Sinclair and now Vir.
