That last question today was a mess (and wrong).
"This boy is depriving a village of an idiot."

WTF? Completed today's quiz, pretty confident, then it shows me question 2 (which anyone would have got right) that I apparently didn't answer.

That's because it wasn't shown to me you ballbag of a quiz!

I am at my usual '1 missed' status.

Today's was a bastard - world trivia? Bloody US trivia again. Can't quite believe my guess-fu I barely knew half those answers.

What do you call someone, usually a woman, who doesn't look real hot?

Really???

Also the wood question.... Sort yourself out quiz!

Yeah those questions were bollox. One of them is blatantly incorrect and another actually has 2 correct answers though only one of them is the registered correct answer. The question writer even contradicts his own question in the stupid blurb they write on the review screen.

Daft twits.

If that's the one I'm thinking of, I expect it's because of the actor named in the category title only appearing in one of them, but I couldn't recall off the top of my head who he is.

If the responses look a bit dodgy, always worth reading the category title above the question itself, especially on the Funtrivia Mix days, as it draws on questions from across every category I believe (maybe just the easy ones).
My face is tired.

So I know I am gifting an answer here, but the question I meant was 'the wood'. If the question had read a wood, I would have chosen a golf club as my answer, as a golfer may have multiple woods in their caddy. If you talk about the wood, you are talking about a stand of trees. Hence the correct golf-oriented answer was bollocks.

And that's without going into 'what do you call a woman who isn't very hot' question. I am no John Walker, but even I thought that one had no place in this century...

Sure, but I think Jez was talking about the film question, given that the question, as phrased, had two correct answers, but only the name given in the category title above it revealed which one it was actually looking for. It's still not great, though.
