United Clowndom

Postby Prey » Mon Oct 10, 2016 1:50 pm

I see clowns here, I see clowns there, I see "killer" looking clowns everywhere...

In Kidlington, Oxfordshire, a man dressed as a clown and carrying a baseball bat was reported to have chased a 10-year-old child through a park.

Gloucestershire Police said it had received six reports of "clowns" behaving suspiciously or carrying knives. In one instance a child was followed.

A cyclist in Eastbourne, Sussex, was left "shaken" after someone dressed as a clown jumped out from a bush brandishing what he believed was an offensive weapon.

And in Sudbury, Suffolk, a boy was chased by "several people dressed as clowns".

A contributor to the Spotted: Loughborough Facebook page said: "I was walking through Shelthorpe cemetery via the footpath next to the school. I was approached by what can only be described as a clown with an axe. I have never been so terrified in my life."

Thames Valley Police said clowns were "tying up resources which could impact on calls to other incidents"

Like an increasingly large number of things, I have to say this just leaves me utterly stumped.

Though I have had a good chuckle at reports of some of these idiots picking the wrong targets and getting the shit kicked out of them
My face is tired.

Isn't this just some Pr stunt for the new IT remake? Or at least started out that way and now turned into the latest online craze like the planking stuff.

Travelling home on the metro yesterday I just happened to spot something bright red in the corner of my eye, upon closer inspection I was stunned to spot a man walking his dog down a pathway wearing a bright red curly wig and some kind of dark boiler suit holding something long in his hand that looked like a fishing rod. Was it a local clown? Fucked if I know but it sure was weird all the same.

What amazes me is the fact that a lot of them are carrying knives - had one spotted in Fleet where I live the other day with a machete. So you can guarantee it is going to be some fuckwitted teenager thinking they are being edgy or some such bollocks, but thing is, you get picked up by the old bill with a knife, you are going inside. Clown costume or no, prank or no, you are going to jail and a criminal record the rest of your life. Utter fuckwittery.
