Indeed, brilliant film. Also his portrayal of Willy Wonka kicked Johnny Depp's attempt to death. Loved him in The Producers too.

Young Frankenstein, The Producers, Blazing Saddles and Willy Wonka are some of my all-time favourite films. I'm not exaggerating a single iota by saying he was one of the iconic figures of my young life, truly gutted by this.

RIP.

Absolutely, and despite everyone going mad for Stir Crazy it was Silver Streak that was the hidden gem for me out of his collaborations with Pryor. RIP.

Probably more a case of not remembering it since the last time anyone watched it, or that's how it is for me anyway. It's Streak's ending that's the most memorable, more so than the comedy. Hopefully they'll repeat the lot.
