Impeach his ass sooner rather than later. God if that Russian collusion is proved it'll be quite something. Sadly it'll push Russia even more to the isolation politics it's been heading down on think.

The Feds are now on it which might not mean much after the election build up but they still poo pooed the wiretap stuff. Maybe they're under pressure to actually be useful. Or smoke and mirrors again. In terms of The Man From Del Monte, I can't see an ever expanding web of lies doing anything but tripping you up.

I've been listening to a whole bunch of American politics podcasts lately. This whole thing is amazing, it's like a TV serial, I can't wait for the next instalment and I have no idea where it's going to go next.

Sadly it's true. I think he views it this way also.

Plus all that vague shit he suggested about "Taking care of" North Korea last week. Getting involved in Afghanistan and Iraq was an epic cluster fuck, could you imagine what N Korea would be like

And that is after pledging throughout his campaign that America will be taking a step back from trying to police the world through sending it's military everywhere.

Trump is so inconsistent, it's been pretty clear for a while now that he has no idea what he is doing. Considering how much he contradicts himself so much I've just taken the policy of ignoring him completely. He is like a child, constantly moving from one idea to another, and the novelty has worn off now.

I'm more worried about Bannon.

Reports are they removed him from the national security council. Which is great or terrible depending where he goes next.

He's supposedly got his own task force now, the Strategic Initiatives Group, that can speak directly to the president.

I imagine Trump will take Bannon's advice over actual agencies.

Oh, and he's also calling White House staff members "Cucks" now? Stay classy, you terrifying man child.

"The US warns the Russians who warn the Syrians who move most of the personnel and assets. The US is seen to be doing something, Russia kicks up a bit but not too much of a fuss, Trump gets a polling boost, Russia will repair any of the damage in Syria. Assad gets told not to use chemical weapons again or there will be no warning from the Russians next time. Everyone wins."

Yeah, Trump has been looking for an excuse to show his strength for a while now I imagine. He wants to prove that he's more willing than Obama to play soldier.

Whatever the decision, it'll still ultimately mean more suffering for people in the Middle East.
