After a few rounds of handshakes to others he gets round to trump and the man child gives him that ridiculous aggressive handshake thing he does.

The 2% of gdp on defence video was great too. Even though the other leaders know they are on camera the reactions from them are fantastic.

Yeah, saw that. Unbelievable. How can they be too stupid to say sorry, it was a typo. Like anyone would care.

Now they look (more) ridiculous.
My face is tired.

Since it's his main form of communication you would think someone would vet that shit before it goes out. Unsurprisingly nobody does.

I almost feel sorry for Spicer sometimes, you can tell he's the butt of every office joke in the White House. Trump probably has a special toilet installed in his office just so he can stick Spicer's head in it.

*sigh*

Trump White House grants waivers of ethics rules
http://www.politico.com/story/2017/05/3 ... ics-239011

“The ethics waivers the White House finally released reveal what we already suspected: that this administration is chock full of senior officials working on issues on which they lobbied, meeting with companies in which they have a financial interest, or working closely with former employers," said Noah Bookbinder of Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington.

Bookbinder added: "No one has believed for months that this president or his administration had any interest in ethics, but these waivers make clear the remarkable extent to which they are comfortable mixing their own personal interests with the country’s. It's no wonder they waited for the cover of night to release them.”

Corruption in the White House would have been scandalous to any other president. For Trump, it was Thursday.

They could do with looking at Arron Banks while they're at it. I wouldn't be surprised if all of them had conspired with Russia to try and destabilise the west. Seeing Farage sent to jail would be a fantastic day.

Ludicrous that Farage would even be peripherally involved. Where's the Russian link with him?

Sources with knowledge of the investigation said the former Ukip leader had raised the interest of FBI investigators because of his relationships with individuals connected to both the Trump campaign and Julian Assange, the WikiLeaks founder whom Farage visited in March.
It's just my wishful thinking that he gets completely screwed by this. :)

Of everything this steaming pile of shit has done over the past few months, pulling out of the climate agreement pisses me off the most for some reason. He is trying to rule the US like a dictator and any criticism towards him or his policies is reacted to with all the grace of a toddler coming off a sugar binge. What an utter, utter Edwin.

I don't think it's even about ruling the US with an iron fist; several state representatives have already said that their states will continue with the Paris Agreement principles and he hasn't called them "losers" even once. No, he thinks the rest of the world is laughing at the USA, and he's going to do what every four year old does in that situation and not play with them anymore.

And on Spicer commenting that people knew what "covfefe" means; my guess is that the communications team find it impossible to judge Trump's moods, and don't dare say anything that suggests he was wrong about something lest they get immediately kicked out of the building. Spicer was probably just overcompensating.
