A thug dares to look down upon me? Well I have need of a new undead slave, he shall suffer. Attack.

Vampire: Strength (4) + Broadsword (1) + Die Roll (1) = 6
Thug: Strength (4) + Die Roll (3) = 7

The Thug roughs you up and you lose another Life! And your sword is broken.

You are down to 2 Lives. You can replenish by draining the blood of your Dancing Girl, if you wish.

Thus ends Round 10.

Recap:

1. The Dragon Rider fell off a cliff and was injured.
2. The Chaos Sorcerer found a Gold Coin in a clearing.
3. The Swashbuckler fought with the Highwayman and they considered it a draw.
4. The Chaos Warrior didn't respond so we assume he has died in the Temple dungeon.
5. The Witch Elf travelled through the Plains and found herself followed by a Poltergeist.
6. The Barbarian continued working his temporary job in the city.
7. The Hobbit went to the Wilderness and found a lost Princess from the Castle.
8. The High Priest excorcised some spirits in the Forest and found a Guide, a Broadsword and a Genie.
9. The Vampire fought with a Thug and lost.

Round 11:

The Dragon Rider continues his trek through the Mountains. He climbs a Mountain and finds a glass bottle of some purple liquid somebody has dropped. A sticker on the side explains that the potion is a Potion of Flight, which will allow the drinker to instantly fly to any space in the same region he is in. To carry this, you'll have to drop one of your four items. Think about it.

The Chaos Sorcerer continues his journey through the Forest. He arrives at a Copse! In the Copse are the two evil spirits excorcised there by the High Priest!

You must fight them at the same time!

Chaos Sorcerer: Craft (4) + Homonculous (1) + Die Roll (1) = 6
Forest Elemental/Wraith: Craft (6 + 4) + Die Roll (6) = 16

Chaos Sorcerer loses a Life! He has only 1 remaining.

The Swashbuckler is next!

He may: Travel to the Chapel to try and fight the Daemon (good luck with that!) OR travel to the Ruins and fight the Wolf!

OR he may enter the Forest to try and dethrone the WRAITH LORD, like the High Priest and Chaos Sorcerer have done.

Did I have to continue my journey? Because if I'd been given a choice there I'd have probably just sacked my quest off and head back to the main map. -_-

I was working on the assumption that everyone who wanted to set off into the Mountains or the Forest was heading for the end goal.

If you go back the other way, Mantis (which we will now assume you do) this is what happens:

On your way back down the Forest Path you encounter a Wild Boar, which attempts to charge you. Before it reaches you, your Centaur companion gallops up and butchers it with the axe he is carrying.

After slaying the Boar, the Centaur gallops away into the forest, leaving you and the Porter and your pet Homonculous, alone.

Now we move back to the Swashbuckler's turn.

Could you do a map for the mountains as you did for the forest (pretty please)?

A wise choice!

The Swashbuckler strides into the Ruins where the hungry Wolf awaits a victim.

OH CRAP!

When you arrive at the Ruins, ready to confront the Wolf, you find that the Wolf is actually the pet of a GIANT who happens to be passing through.

The Wolf and the Giant attack you at the same time!

Wolf & Giant: Strength (1 + 6) + Die Roll (1) = 8
Swashbuckler: Stregnth (3) + Sword (1) + Die Roll (4) = 8

It's a DRAW! The Wolf and Giant back off and continue to haunt the Ruins. The Swashbuckler gets away unscathed.

Onto the Witch Elf! Haunted by the Poltergeist, she also arrives at the Ruins.

Does she attack the Swashbuckler, or the Wolf + Giant?

EDIT:

Wait, no, that's a terrible idea that will lead to death. Sorry, Swashbuckler, you're getting mugged. I'll take whichever type of attack favours me. Or favours him less. I'm not up-to-date on his equipment and things.

Swashbuckler loses. Do you wish to take his Sword or his Life?

Sword, please.

The original post indicated that atttacking the scarypowerful wolf-giant tag-team seemed like a good idea.

You relieve the Swashbuckler of his Sword and leave him lying in the Ruins, bewildered by your psychic attack.

Onto Truss Ironshaft!

Truss has finished his contract with the shop-keeper and may go to any of the following places in the City:

1. The Palace
2. The Alchemist
3. The Wizard's Guild
4. The Pawn Brokers
5. The High Temple
6. The Horse Market
7. The Enchantress
8. The Armoury
9. The Doctor's Surgery
10. Canal Street
11. Double-back to the Town Square and fight the Thug or the Vampire

Truss whistles happily as he loads the crates onto the cart, the work is easy and the shopkeeper is generous with his gold. Truss is just picking up the last crate when a commotion breaks out in the square. It appears that some pale looking fop with a witless trollop in tow has picked a fight with a large street thug. Truss leans against the cart and grins as the entertainment unfolds. The fop is prancing and gesticulating wildly while hissing at the thug, his long pointed tongue waggling like a snake. The thug merely frowns and plants his large fist with a sickening crunch into the fops face. He follows with several more strikes and a vicious kick to the nethers. The fun over Truss turns to a new drama unfolding, the shopkeeper is running after a fellow who has just stolen the horse. Time to leave. The barbarian strolls idly down the street towards the armory.
