1) No breaks, no subs and no time limit. Players can leave the pitch when they're exhausted but they can't come back.

2) No rules against violence. Anything goes.

3) Spectators can throw additional balls onto the pitch, and they all count.

4) Sides don't switch at half time (since there no longer is a half time). Instead, the sides switch at a random point indicated by a gong and some fireworks. The keepers have to sprint to the other side of the pitch.

5) One player on each side can ride a horse.

6) 22 men enter, one man leaves?
My face is tired.

I had a radical idea of them only using decent referees instead of shit ones, but that's probably going a bit too far into the realms of fantasy.

I like this, but I'd say the Captain of the team has to ride the horse, not any player.

I guess that's ultimately what would happen with no time limit! I think you'd have to say the game ends when the last player of either team gives up, otherwise the remaining team could just score infinity goals.

My interest in football could not be any lower. People, usually colleagues, are completely bewildered by how little I know about the whole subject and often don't believe me when I claim not to know who certain people are.

All I've taken away from our performance in the world cup so far is that we've played a through games and got through. Couldn't tell you who we played, what days the games happened or how well we scored. The whole thing just passes me by and I remain in blissful ignorance.

Pete Woodward, 43, said: "It looked like the apocalypse. There was a towering inferno of flames."

He said he "just grabbed a toothbrush and underpants" and got out with his partner and two young daughters.

I love how those are the two items he deemed vital to the survival of the apocalypse. If you've got modesty and clean teeth, bring it on.

Does look bad, though.

Just had an eye test and this happened:

Optician: Your eye test was nice and straightforward compared to the previous person.
Me: Oh, that's good.
Optician: Here, look at her medical file.
Me: Wait, what
Optician: What do you make of that?
Me: Erm.... she has eyes...?
Optician: Well it's not good, that's for sure!
Me: <internal data protection alarms>

It really was. Given that I've spent a large portion of the last six months dealing with GDPR stuff, it was kind of astonishing.

Still, two designer pairs for £160!

I was going to say mate - last 18 months here spent programme managing GDPR implementation and here is someone openly sharing special category data! You should report it mate, at least to the owner of the opticians. I can't believe that level of unprofessionalism from someone in the medical industry.

Maybe he wasn't an optician, just some opportunist rogue who's kidnapped or murdered the actual optician and is having a laugh.

was there any personal information on display or just photographs of eyes? Not that it justifies anything. Just wondering.
