Wondering who might know the answer to this.

I'm aware brussels is a bilingual city with French and Dutch both being spoken (English is still used in places thankfully) but which language gets used the most? I've been trying to research and keep get differing accounts.

One of my lot came back from there a few months ago. He said it was mostly French but English is almost universally spoken if you're worried about general touristy stuff restaurants and the like.

Cheers chaps.

Doug, would you like me to sort out access to your Stormbringer account or are you happy with your twin?

I am happy to continue with this one, Mantis. Stormbringer has some questionable opinions.

Apparently there is some foot of the ball being played just now.

I had to chuckle at the eternal springing of hope in the papers and from work colleagues who should really know better. You would think that the tonking of Panama, whose sole aim was to score one goal before being knocked out, had been the three lions tearing apart Germany, Argentina and Brazil all in one game the way people are reacting to the win.

Ah well, I have never seen much beauty in the beautiful game, so will continue to go about my day paying as little attention to the footery as possible.

My favourite part of this is the Polish guy who sits next to me cancelled his leave request for the next round today.
Turns out you have to comment why you are cancelling leave in our system.

Naturally, this is paraphrased, but the bones are right

To be perfectly honest, while being a fan of the old foot-to-ball I got tired of international footer a while ago, and haven't troubled myself to watch a single minute of the tournament so far.

I'll probably try to watch the semis and final, but equally depending on who's playing I may not bother.
My face is tired.

The Panama game was the first football match I've watched in several years. I have some suggestions for how football could be better:

1) No breaks, no subs and no time limit. Players can leave the pitch when they're exhausted but they can't come back.

2) No rules against violence. Anything goes.

3) Spectators can throw additional balls onto the pitch, and they all count.

4) Sides don't switch at half time (since there no longer is a half time). Instead, the sides switch at a random point indicated by a gong and some fireworks. The keepers have to sprint to the other side of the pitch.

5) One player on each side can ride a horse.

I think you'll find that's already been raised with FIFA. Too slow.

Oh and cybernetics are positively encouraged.
