Found out this morning that Sky being the dicks that they clearly are have been actively charging us £45 a month for the last three months for services that should have rightfully ended back in October last year. Contacting them they made all manner of excuses to which I explained they even sent me notifications that the services would end on set dates - the phone and broadband services have both remained live ever since.
I also contacted Virgin our new ISP and explained the situation and even though they are not to blame they have offered us half of the three month bill we have paid to Sky off of our upcoming Virgin bills, somewhere in the region of £60-£80. Nice one Virgin, much appreciated. Now we have to talk to Sky again to ask just why it is even after a number transfer and service end dates they continued to charge us and didn't end the services as requested several times.
Sky are bell ends. Even more glad we left them right now but obviously they didn't want us to leave.
