You got me there. I always though it was Sunday morning.

Anyone here on or around the wirral? Reading twitter updates for a ridiculous looking gas explosion.

It's midnight on Saturday, so you're an hour ahead on Sunday morning.

I didn't fancy staying up the extra hour just to be on time :P

What a week.
Got back from Canada Sunday morning, drove home from Gatwick, started packing and am about to hand the keys to my former house to the estate agent.

Whirlwind week, slightly emotional goodbye yesterday to my home of 9 years, 300 days and the hunt for a new one starts Monday.

The question is, why the heck would you leave Canada and come back here?

Aye was going to ask where you went to. I go to Canada nearly every year for a bit of snowboarding out west in Canadian rockies. Love the place.

Yes, the working theory being that a 1 bed house would take a while to go so got it on the market and have been looking since.
Then it sold in a week and a half.

We'd lined up staying at the in-laws just in case so I'm not sleeping in the car :)

As to Canada, we went to Toronto and Niagara Falls.
Naigara is a dump. It's a half day visit job, not a two day stay.
The other 4 days were Toronto, which was hilarious, especially the protesters outside the aquarium...

Not been to that side of Canada. You should try the west side sometime it's beautiful.

Went to Vancouver a few years back (more like 8 or 9) with the missus (at the time we were looking to emigrate, but it didn't work out). Lovely city. So great to have the mountains so close, spent a good day up in the snow.

Nearly every year...up until baby was born in 2015 we were going every year since 2008. We'll start going again when he turns 3 next year and get him started on the skiing. We have been dithering about living over there too. It's a funny country.

Finding stone chippings on your car bonnet after owning it for 6 months. The roads/drivers around these parts can suck it.
