So, having done a quick search of the forum I can see Raid has one of these already.
I've just bought the same set as Raid (i think, having looked at his photo).
Any tips?

I'm mainly looking to run Mame (I have loads of ROMs somewhere) but up for any others stuff but need to find the requisite ...erm...'data'.

Emuparadise is an amazing site for.... data.
As is Pleasuredome if you want to go the torrential route.

It's pretty easy setting up, there's a bunch of good guides.

Cool, should be delivered today but I'm at work so will miss the delivery and then have to wait to collect it another day.

What evol said.

The only bit I thought was even remotely tricky was the bluetooth joypad setup. If you're using a wired one, then all you're really doing is copying the OS file onto an SD card and plugging everything in.

It'll be a wired 360 controller so all good there then.
Now to search all my HDD stacked in a corner to find the one with my MAME files on it....

Well, that was easy :)

I think my ROMS are too new as not all of them work (out of 6000 odd). I did read that that they shouldn't be too new as they work fine on a powerful desktop but not on the retropie.
