Shit sorry Jez bud. I was only pulling your power cables.

Nvidia isn't the true enemy. Consoles are.

Right Snowy, hijacking this mofo!

Peoples thoughts on the 7850? For £171 it looks like it'll end up being my new card with a view to crossfire next year.

Thinking of getting the MSI one. Fuck it, I'm an ATI whore when it comes to graphics.

MSI are the safe pair of hands with anything AMD related, especially their mobos but they also do the GPUs as well, compare directly with Sapphire, the other chief "reliable" card makers as opposed to Asus, OCZ and Giga-Byte who prefer mad overclocking.

Do you need it now now now or can you wait until it drops to £150? That would be a fair price for a xx50 over the xx70.

Oh, I can wait. I'm just looking at something that's no more than £200, and yet gives a lot of punch per pound. I really like MSI, and this caught my eye.

No doubt I'll ask closer to the time, but I'm thinking I'll have an urge to buy before New Year. Just weighing up my options, really.

It should definitely drop another 20 quid in the next three and a half months even if it's the one site doing a special offer. Yeah ask again at the time, wouldn't be surprised if it's any late new launches that end up forcing the price cuts, just saw Maplin drop the 6670 at the budget end, down to £50 :o Didn't even know that card existed.

The 7770 dropping to $110? That's now a great budget card right there.

Surely pricing is down to individual retailers and market averages rather than any decision by AMD other than releasing higher spec products above that card?

Being two weeks until Q3 for us and Q4 for Americans, If they feel like trying to generate Xmas upgrades, the customer's the winner. Checking CCL's five current 7770s they're £93-120 with the only difference being clocks and cooling. So sometimes it's both GPU maker and retailers together, other times it's seasonal.

Looking the 7950 and 660ti. Very tempted by the MSI 7950 3GB. VERY TEMPTED.

Anyone got a 7950 or a 660ti that could tell me how they run games. It's mainly all I want one for, really. Luckily, the mobo I'm getting supports crossfire and SLI so I could have either GPU. Just really depends on you guys really. I have had one NVIDIA (8600gt) and an ATI card (4870x2). Liked them both equally, so I'm really stuck.

How long as we looking at before the price cuts come in?
