HTPC to replace the PS3

Postby Tichinde » Sat Aug 04, 2012 7:26 pm

I'm finally putting together my HTPC to replace my PS3, and I'm wrapped up in choices.

I've got the cash to sling an I5-2500 in it and a 560Ti (making it almost the same as my proper PC).
But I reckon I can go cheaper on the CPU (without throttling the 560) and get something else in there that will be more than ample for the job of mostly playing GW2.....

Any thoughts?

Spec at the moment looks like
I5-2500
Asus P8H77 m-ATX
8GB of Corsair XMS
560Ti
GD05B (it fits on my TV stand and looks nice enough)
120GB Agility 3
Coolermaster 500W PSU.
BD drive
