Is there some sort of wifi iPlayer box?

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

Is there some sort of wifi iPlayer box?

Want something like that for the bedroom but most seem to be ethernet only. I dont care about live TV at all, just iPlayer (4od and such would be a nice addition, but only internet streams).

I should probably just get a second PS3 shouldnt I? Or wait for the Raspberry Pi....

Do they still make shuttles? Dunno if netbooks have an out for a monitor you could use. If you held off a while you might be able to get an internet TV relatively cheap before long.

Yeah and nettops but all are more expensive than a PS3/360 and less easy to control with a remote. I would have thought some sub £50 shot would be around by now for watching internet TV on.

An ethernet only jobber with home plugs?
Probably the best answer

Or something like http://www.broadbandbuyer.co.uk/Shop/Sh ... ctID=10692 perhaps???

Perhaps a cheap Android tablet with HDMI out on it?

That's all I've got..

Yeah, all options cost as much if not more than a 360 so it doesnt really make sense to get something that does the same except not play games/dvds. Ach well, cheers for the suggestions!

Actually thinking it might make the best sense to put the extra money I would spend on this to the TV thus getting a 42" for the bedroom instead of a 32" then just stick my existing PS3 through there. Not as good a sound system for playing PS3 games but an ok compromise.

Wii is ok just for iPlayer, but 4OD really shouldn't be overlooked. I use it way more than iPlayer.

EDIT : Dur, my point is that Wii doesn't support 4OD, I meant to say.

Have a look at page 19 of the I Just Bought Thread in this section.

They've patched it since and resolved the couple of issues I had with the WDTV. Works pretty well imo (aside from the odd crash, but nothing a reset can't sort!)
