Well it's not too far off, they dropped about 40% on ocuk. They may drop a bit more, maybe £10-£15 at the most which would make it pretty close to 50%.

Thought I would post in this topic as to keep everything nice and neat.

I am upgrading probably at the end of August and have been having a look around at what I can get. Most things will need to be upgraded for my new build. I have a budget of around £500 and currently I have the following.

Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 £138
Antec SmartPower II 500W Modular PSU £51
Corsair 2GB Kit (2x1GB) DDR2 800MHz/PC2-6400 XMS2 Memory £71
Seagate 160GB 7200.10 7200RPM SATAII/300 8MB Cache £34

I have had a look at gfx cards, but no idea what is good nowadays so need to do some research on that.

Also not sure on motherboards. I have an Asus at the moe which I have had no problem with so have been looking at this one, but not sure whether I really need to spend that much. Looking for one around £50 ideally.

Also what happens with connecting my old DVD drives to these new motherboards?

Any help would be much appreciated.
