What will you be Buying this October?

Postby Prey » Tue Oct 03, 2017 8:57 am

October 2017 is shaping up to be one of the biggest in a very long time with multiple highly anticipated games arriving across multiple platforms. November also has plenty coming too meaning it's going to be a very expensive couple of weeks indeed for many.

What will your pennies be going towards in the next month or so? If there's anything else I've missed you are looking forward to feel free to throw it into the mix.

Gah I thought you could vote for more than one. I'll also be getting Mario Odyssey.

I wasn't too impressed with the first Mario Odyssey trailer, but recent gameplay footage has won me over. It's probably going to be brilliant.

Probably none of the above. The only one I'm interested in is South Park but I probably won't buy it until Christmas time.

I'm interested in South Park, but I lost interest in the original fairly quickly (probably more me than the game), so I'm not willing to buy it at full price.

Will get South Park, but unsure yet whether it will be on release.

Absolutely nothing. :(

The SNES Mini cleaned me out for the month. In retrospect it would appear I never thought that decision thorough properly.

Interested in Wolf but we'll see, doubt I'll buy it anywhere near launch. Nothing else really appeals to me except Mario but I wont be buying a switch for it.

I'm tripping over second-hand switches in CEX every time I go in, I'm guessing from ppl who finished BOTW and then realised there wasn't a hell of a lot else out there for it.

Except for Splatoon 2, Steamworld Dig 2 and Mario and Rabbids to name a few.

I actually think the Switch is having one of the best launch years of any console I've owned. "Only BoTW" lasted for maybe a month.

It's not the games it's the size and battery that's putting me off.

Having finally upgraded to a next gen console gaming is an option again. Off that list, Wolfenstein is all that interests me. Far Cry 5 will also be got when it's out.

None of them really. Southpark is using Uplay and that was the only game I was interested in,

Didn't the first South Park also use Uplay? I'll probably buy it. I'm going to try and avoid buying Wolfenstein 2 on launch, if Doom is anything to go by it will be reduced by Christmas.
