It's an old tweet, yes, but that's the original intention for the game, straight from the horse's mouth. Dig deeper, and you see the crass, skewed idea of feminism he holds. Or held?

Dude said he had changed. I'm going to wait until the game comes out before I believe that.

Well I hadn't seen that Tweet!

That doesn't even make sense. Nothing I have seen about this game in footage or press releases hints at any such thing being clearly written into the setting. I think perhaps he was just being a dick on Twitter, but fair play for pointing that out. His views may be a little more confrontational than I had originally seen, but thankfully I don't think it will be reflected in the game that much, I'll be keeping an eye on it now. Buy what you like mate! I never said anything about you being obliged to buy it or not.

Haha. The very "supercut" I posted, but then deleted.
There's some good awkwardness in there, but the real "cringe" came when the one or two jokes I wasn't comfortable with turned out to be all the way shitty. #-o

Edit: Well, this is all very awkward.

Reguarding the show this year. Well, it was alright. Felt all very mid-console generation. So nothing to big or exciting. No true megaton announcements. Still, a handful of solid games to look forward to this year and the next, it it wasn't a complete wash.

here you go:

This was fun. Media people could play Forza and race each other. I came 2nd and 4th (from 8 places) in my 2 races. E3 was very much a case of 2 tiered experience. If you had appointments and had media pass you could skip huge lines and try out VR experiences. Paying punters looked on in envy. At times it was embarrassing.

This is me and Angela (a colleague). As part of being in the "media" corp we can skip lines and get booth tours. So this is me at Xbox booth playing Sea Of Thieves.

I was really impressed by these Bloody keyboards. They have not been released yet but I am definitely in the market for one.

Nice. :)
Thanks for those.

Now that I think about it, this is the first time I saw any on the floor stuff from this year. I must say it's looking a little... mild. Also overly packed. How much did you think having the pubic come in and fill up the floor space changed things?

yes off to Gamescom for the first 2 days because once that thing goes public its a real fucker.

I did not go to E3 last year due to a US Visa problem so can only compare to 2 years ago. It did feel crowded but not overly so. There were 15,000 public tickets sold and since everyone has to show their pass visibly it was easy to tell the public from the industry. Actually no one really minded. I spoke to 4 guys who bought tickets and they came from all over. One came all the way from Scotland. They all said the same thing - it was an experience worth doing but not to be repeated. I mean lines to really popular games were 3+ hours which is a lot of wasted time even if the ticket bought you access to all the 2.5 days. The industry guys were all in chorus - we thought public days is the way to go - similar to Gamescom.

I had a lot of meetings and so was busy for most of the time. By the end I was utterly done. It started on Saturday with EA Play and went all the way to 4pm Thursday, my last meeting with Nintendo. My biggest regret was that I could of shaken Shigeru Miyamoto hand and had a picture taken but shyness overtook me and I did not want to bother him as he looked pretty drained as well. That is what E3 does to you - it drians you. It is a collage of noise and video for a week with long nights out in the evening entertaining. Do not get me wrong I am not complaining - I mean I am getting paid to have fun !! but it is still work.

I am doing an webex E3 recap presentation to over 100 industry people on Thursday. I suppose someone has to do it.

For me the best bit of E3 was this and I was only several feet away when it live. It was just as funny to see it in real life. At the start of the video if you look to the right you will see a kid and his dad. I was sitting to the right of that man - in fact right at the end you can see my bald head and white shirt

I have a piece of shit razor keyboard at the moment that irritatingly stops backlighting the keys meaning i have to alt tab and piss about in the software to turn them on again. This happens severals times during a typical 90 minute session. Irritates the shit out of me. I'm going to replace it soon and something like that might be the one.

yeah I am in the market - I wrote to them today on when they are shipping these keyboards. At E3 they said it will retail between $60 to $200 depending on the model. I really liked them - they had something different about them. Functional and neat
