I never really got the collecting bug. Last thing I collected was probably the Star Wars and Superman cards in about 1977, and I never was never really bothered about those.

You might guess, I am completely nonplussed by videogame completionists ;) Riddler trophies? I think not...

Kind of with Snowy. It's not that I don't have slightly obsessive tendencies if left unchecked (for all the debate over 'videogames aren't addictive', I think there have been times in my life where I've basically been at that point), but collecting has never really been my thing. I collected stamps for a while when I was 8-11, that kind of age, built up quite a nice little haul actually that lives in a box under the stairs with vague plans of one day have it properly valued, but that's it.

Just don't do the collectible things at all. Each Christmas and birthday my dad buys things 'to display', like an X-Wing or a limited edition Lego Liverpool 2005 CL winners open-top bus, but I just don't really know what to do with them, so they sit on a high shelf collecting dust.

I will, however, to the chagrin of my wife, almost never willingly part with something I have spent money on... books, DVDs, CDs, games, whatever. It's only been a few years since I grudgingly parted with my VHS tapes.
My face is tired.

I installed it when the apk first became available and played for a bit... but I live in the countryside, so there's almost nothing here. Got bored and uninstalled it.

I have a feeling that it's just a fad that's going to burn out quite quickly.

Another thing I am vaguely aware of but have no real concept of what it is :)

You go to a gps location in the app where another user has left "something". You may take something if you put something else in its place. Honour system.

Its about the most dodgy dumb shit ever

This has officially been released in the UK, for anyone who hasn't downloaded it already.

Works properly now as well. I've been out by the canal during lunch trying to catch enough Magikarp to evolve them. -_-

Walking around Cardiff city centre atm, wish I could get rewarded with a quid for every kid that's collided with me while they're playing this with blinkers on.

My wife came home from the office the other day wanting to talk about Pokemon. Apparently they'd found one on a colleague's chair and were all very excited by it.

She also keeps trying to make me go see the new Ghostbusters film.

I'm starting to worry we're growing apart :/

Niantic are saying that the game is about 10& of what they want it to be right now and in the immediate future they hope to add Pokemon Centres, more functionality to gyms and allow Pokestops to be customised.

It would be nice if they added a way to battle other trainers and a proper battle system first.
