I replayed Bulletstorm a couple of months ago, it still looks good. I was sort of hoping for a sequel at some point since the ending suggests the need for one.

No Duke Nukem announcement then? ¬_¬

Dual Universe looked like fun but not sure on how that is going to work out really.

We Happy Few has me interested in seeing more of it as I liked the dark comedy and art style. And after reading up a bit of on steam being a randomly generated game when you die and other stuff. Yea keeping my eye on it.

And Southpark trolled me for another bloody Division typical Ubisoft game trailer before Coon appeared and made me grin. Just keep it off Uplay and I will get it on steam :)

Andrew House's explanation for why they PS4 Neo exists.

"We've traditionally seen that some of the core audience tends to gravitate back to high-end PCs at some point because these are the people who want the finest graphical performance," he said. "So here's a great opportunity to have them stay within our ecosystem."

If this really was the reason then they should have perhaps put a bit more power into the Neo.

Got round to watching both conferences. MS is a clinical game factory isnt it? Its all polished so hard that the personality seems to have rubbed off. I cant get excited about anything they had, even Gears which was the most derivative tosh (shoot the exploding barrels, thats youre big E3 demo?) Sonys stuff feels more homely and souly even stuff like Last Guardian that I have no interest in really still seem more appealing than what MS had to show. Except that Sony Bend game, that looked like impressive techd trash.

I think Horizon and and RE are probably the only things im looking forward to out of both conferences. Horizon looks so fun but then so do Farcry 3/4 in those types of slices and they were massive piles of poo.

Also...
"Killer Instinct is the most popular fighting game......... on Xbox One"
More people have played a f2p game than played MKX, gz.

So what else are people looking forward to most coming out of this E3? Can't say there's an enormous amount on my radar as I've no interest in VR or many of the big AAA titles.

For me;
Crash Bandicoot Remastered on PS4
Sea of Thieves
The Sony Bend biker game looks like it could be alright
Dawn of War 3
Zelda looks quite nice
Death Stranding

That's about it. Microsoft did a good job of convincing me to never buy an Xbox One, partly because not many of their games really looked that interesting, but also because they're all coming out on PC anyway.

So far Sea of Thieves is my game of the show. How fun does that game look to play with friends?

Last Guardian is getting a rather tepid response it seems. Issues with performance (surprising as I don't think it looks that good), controls and the camera. I read one piece that posited perhaps the poor controls were bad on purpose to make the player feel disorientated like the character is. Stuff like that really annoys me as the majority of games would never be given that consideration, but because Ueda is a media darling you have journalists coming up with crap like that.

One other thing I've found weird this year is the response to God of War. To me it just looks like another third person action game, but a lot of the coverage has been pretty positive with some people saying it is their most anticipated game. Someone on Giantbomb even likened it to Dark Souls, because you roll out of the way of attacks! Is it purely because the franchise had become so boring that a few tweaks to the combat and an xp system, things that many other third person games already do, are enough to get people hyped? I feel like I'm completely missing something.

Excitement wise
-Infinite Warfare and Titanfall 2 looked and sounded really good.
-Horizons still looks cool, but I'm starting to worry that it is just a third person Far Cry.
-Zelda looks brilliant.
-Sea of Thieves looks like it could be fun, but I'm concerned it is going to be another of those games that is only good with friends.

Hmm?

It makes sense with how weird it was doing Days Gone at the end.
