You realise they were meant as a joke right and they ended up putting in a lot of their own money to finish off Broken Age?

I walked past Schafer last year at E3. You know how famous people look different in real life. Schafer looks exactly like he does on screen.

I too played Psychonauts when it came out and never finished it. Like most Schafer games it outstays its welcome. It is like having that quirky person at a party, at first you think he is funny and charming, but when everyone starts to head home for the evening and that guy is still there rattling on anything bullshit and you realise he will be the last person to leave - just fucking end !

Psychonauts would be a better game if it didn't take half a lifetime to finish
Games playing : Doom / Dirt 3 / Rochard / RTW 2

Yep loads of fools out there :P

I thought it was already posted here (trust my dodgy memory eh) about how Fig was asking for investment but not to count on getting anything out of it but here's a little video discussion on it.

The Fig stuff is not a con, it is just like any other investment in which you are never guaranteed a return. They have to say that for legal reasons to cover themselves. If you don't want to invest your money you can still give in the normal way like you can on Kickstarter. That guy making that video is either very stupid, or has an axe to grind.

Kickstarter pledges aren't investments.

There are two ways to give to Psychonauts 2 on Fig. Either by being a backer like in Kickstarter where you give what you want and get a reward like Kickstarter, or the investment route where you put in at least £500 I think it is as an investment in the hope that you make a return on that investment. There is no con going on.

Schafer yakking about the plot in a Reddit AMA...

https://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/ ... me/cyuevw2

The story for Psychonauts 2 is something I wanted to do back when Psychonauts was released. In the intervening years I've been keeping a document of ideas going, with new mental worlds and story ideas going in as I think of them. So I'm starting this game with the rough story figured out, ideas for brains and mechanics, and an engine (Unreal).
In Psychonauts 2, Raz will finally get to go to Psychonauts headquarters--his lifelong dream. There he can see Sasha and Milla in their natural environment--international espionage. But he finds several things strange about the organization. While Truman Zanotto was missing, several changes to the direction of the organization were made by his second in command. Funding was cut from traditional psychic research and peacekeeping, and redirected to unorthodox, fringe endeavors, including the discredited practice of necromancy. Raz soon uncovers sinister things at work in the shadows of Psychonauts headquarters, including double agents and evils of the past. Raz’s own family history plays a pivotal part in the story, and Raz must confront the roots of the curse placed on his family once and for all. And also deal with this whole “girlfriend” term and what it really means. :)

The original Cycleknots is heading to PS4...

In the Springtime apparently. Such a lovely time of year, the time of rebirth and rejuvenation. Flowers blooming left right and centre, such a wonderful time to be alive.
