Aye the start is so hard to getting it right that I don't seem to last beyond the first infection but it is fun still trying to get there :)
I can't seem to do any waypoints though with shift click or make the patrols more than from point A to B.

Petroglyph's latest RTS game has just hit Early Access on Steam. The big pitch for this one is the ability to customise your units.

Interesting-sounding episodic road trip adventure Hitchhiker has made it's first episode free for the next couple of weeks:

Was previously a Humble exclusive.

I don't really know where to put this, but I've just read it and it's hilarious, so thought I'd share:

The Fall Part 2, the second part to one of my favourite games of the last few years, came out yesterday. I can't recommend this game enough and if you buy Part 2 now, they throw in Part 1 for free.

Man, there are so many cool-looking indie games coming out at the moment, it's actually a bit overwhelming :o

I thought I'd list a few of the really interesting one either out now or soon to be released - many of which I'm sure I'll get but with money being tight will probably wait for Steam/Gog sales:

Disco Elysium

Detective RPG in an imaginative urban fantasy world, where the devs are trying to cater for every possible choice giving players a vast range of options in every situation. Looks beautiful too.

Moonlighter

Dj mentioned this in the games currently playing thread, but including it here as part of my indie catch-all. Intriguing sort-of spiritual successor to Recettear - play as a shopkeeper who refreshes his stock by venturing into dungeons to loot them from monsters.

Unforeseen Incidents

Blah name, but looks like a really neat point-and-click adventure game with a cool story and really nice comic-book style art.

Cultist Simulator

Set up your own Lovecraftian cult through the medium of a tabletop card game, story written by the guy behind Sunless Sea. Sounds really cool, and will probably buy this when it unlocks tonight.

There's probably more, but for now those are the ones that I'm most looking forward to getting :)

Ooh, I didn't realise this thread existed.

The Siege and the Sandfox looks absolutely my sort of thing.

I guess I'll re-mention FoxTail, which is an old-school point and click adventure.

You can purchase an "in-development" version of it from GOG.COM or Steam, and I tried it last night.

The graphics and interface are absolutely beautiful and one of the best examples of this genre I've seen.

Genesis Alpha One

I'm not entirely sold, but a FPS that mixes base building, management and space exploration seems quite neat. One to keep an eye on, at least.

Chasm is finally out on July 31st for PC, PS4 and everyones favorite handheld, the murrafukkin Vita! Devs that know their shit! 8)

Its a procedural Metroivania with hand built/designed main sections then it randomly generates the rest of the map. That could be bit or miss. It does have seed codes which is cool, I wish all random map games would include that.

Looks good but who really knows when algorithms are doing the levelording.
