DS4 gets an official Sony dongle for use on PC. Their wording sounds like it's only for psn services but I'm sure it'll be generic. Hopefully better than the shitshow that is the X1 controllers Windows drivers.

I've been using the DS4 tool to use mines here with no issues and I bought a cheapie bluetooth dongle for a £5 that works perfectly as well.

Theres quite a few games Ive ran into problems with DSTool. If they do it right and we no longer need to run a bit shonky 3rd party software thats worth it if its £15ish, extra worth it if it supports using it as an audio device. I dont really have faith that it will be done well because like I said, the X1 controller is kind of shocking in its PC use, 360 ones are way way better.

Why not just release the drivers for PC and let people use any bluetooth dongle? This just feels like price gouging.

No real reason to put in the work with no payback. Sony dont really have much of a foot in PC gaming at all.

No, but a nice way to perhaps get people interested would be to release the drivers. They have made them anyway and some people will still just buy the dongle.

Anyway PS Now has much bigger issues than having to pay $25 to use a pad properly on the PC.

If you have Titan Quest on Steam, you've just been given the new Anniversary Edition which includes the Immortal Throne expansion for free. 8)

I might actually play all the way through it now, the setting is much better than Grim Dawn.

They have also got rid of Gamespy, added Steamworkshop support, and a load of other changes. Going to check it out myself.

I didn't want to start a new thread for this, so posting it here.

John Walker, but whoever wrote the piece this sounds like an appallingly awful piece of worthless shit:

Saw something about this earlier, Sony have refused to put it on PSN.

No doubt it'll do quite well on Steam and the like anyway because there's a lot of taste for buying bad games just out of morbid curiosity.

I misread your words and thought you were dissing the RPS guy but after reading his article I thought he was spot on. Now I've come back and reread your comment and you agree :)

We had a coach in here (at work) to help with our agile software development and one of his stories was how he worked in the 90s in America doing this exact same thing. Teaching guys creeping , disgusting tactics to 'woo' women. It was all I could do to not walk out on him, he had so many lies I never really knew where he stood (and he was an ugly bugger too...). But it was an eye opener nonetheless.

Yeah, all I meant was JW obviously has a bit of a rep for hand-wringing over certain issues, but in this instance I think it's fully justified. This "game" sounds utterly reprehensible, made worse because it looks like being a gateway into a very disturbing world that I never realised existed and find horrifying.

Yeah, there is a sense of the 'boy who cried wolf' with Walker at times, but that game does indeed look pretty dodgy.
