The Planescape: Torment Enhanced Edition is currently 80% off on Steam for the next few days, so £2.99:

Bargain. Obviously PS:T is an all-time classic, but it's worth noting that this Beamdog enhanced edition is near-perfect, whereas their enhanced editions of BG and Icewind Dale were less so. The game is unchanged in terms of content, thankfully - it's PS:T as it should be, made to work perfectly on modern systems.

Are there more free games on steam these days or are you just getting better at finding them?

I think there's more. Some days you don't even have to try too hard they're just there.

More games to be added to the library never to be played.

I don't think I've been excited by a Steam sale in 3 or 4 years now.

I still enjoy a Steam sale, it's all about the smaller games now. There are tons of great small games that come out during the year and the Steam sales are a great time to pick some of them up. My wishlist currently has around 100 titles on it so I'm sure I'll end up grabbing something.

I had a dream about the sale last night. They brought back the time based flash sales and I was losing my mind with excitement. In all honesty I was expecting to wake up this morning to discover evidence of some hardcore nocturnal emissions, but nothing. I guess I'm getting old.

Back in the real world and I'm pretty much like dj, it's all about the smaller games for me now. With the more bigger titles it seems that over the years £3.74 has become £4.99 and now £7.49 which is now slowly becoming £9.99. Bargains just ain't what they used to be, plus you get most things cheaper elsewhere and redeem the key on steam anyway.

Still looking forward to sale though all the same.

I'd argue £9.99 is still a very good price for a AAA game.
