Where is the fun in that? ;)

I want to build monsters, rockets that would take a small arab nation to fuel, that can continue to blast their way into space long after escaping gravity :)

I am currently trying to build a probe to send into the outer reaches, but want to absolutely BLAST it out of Kerbin :D

I'm playing through Brutal Legend at the minute, but the moment I finish I'm going to get a little kerbal walking around the fucking Mun. Apparently, to get to the far reaches of the system you need to send up the rocket piece by piece into the atmosphere and link it together into one big rocket there. Which sounds really quite hard. Think they're going to add new star systems eventually too

If I was you snowy, I'd try and nuclear bomb the Sun, drive a big Nuclear powered rocket right into it. The don't like it up em!

If you want to really blast the fuck off, use an asparagus staging design for your boosters. Can get into orbit of the sun with hardly any actual fuel using this! http://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki ... us_Staging

Big update recently, it's add a campaign mode. You start off with only a few rocket bits and unlock more with Science! You get Science! by recovering landed craft which have completed experiments, from getting into orbit, or recording how the Mysterious Goo reacts at different heights. Pretty much everything you can think off gives you Science! the first time you do it, you then record one bit of it per science module or Kerbal and collect it when you recover a landed craft. You can attach an antenna to beam the science results back if you think you'll crash or you get stuck in orbit, but this gives you less Science and takes a fair old wack of power.

Pretty cool updates, gives you alot more purpose beyond just building bigger rockets.

Robbaz has some quite entertaining videos on this game. These are the most recent ones:

There's also a nice five-part series of them starting here:

Must get back into this.

Oh, and Robbaz may sound like a gurgling Swedish nubbin but he has (a) loads of successfully downloaded and installed custom content, something I never managed to get working and (b) some skillz in building his shippery!

You should watch his Besiege vids as well, he's built some crazy stuff in that.

Nice. Now if I can get into a stable orbit I may start playing again.
