Yeah, totally.

Keep forgetting ME3 isn't that far away. Whenever I remember, it's like finding a fiver in a coat you're not worn for ages. Conceivably by GOTY for 2012 already...

It's quite amazing that a game released on an almost now defunct last gen hardware based console can still hit the dizzy heights of a 10.

Very interested still in seeing what Battlefield and Skyrim will get but then aren't we all.

As for RAGE the first 5 or so hours of RAGE I'd have said a 7 was pretty much pitch perfect but the more I play the more it's sneaking up to a very solid 8 - two week technical nightmare notwithstanding. RAGE is a lot more fun than it really should ever be and many of its flaws only help you truly appreciate more the many aspects and features it actually nails. The main problem I can see with it is it ending when it's just about to really grow some legs and start a running.

Steam states I've played 30 hours but we all know a good 12 or more hours of that wasn't actually playing the game. #-o

Thanks for posting as always MM. You da man.

Added links to the online reviews to the OP for those who might be interested.

In some case the online reviews appear to be in a truncated form to that which appears in the magazine, but you get the drift.

How so mate? Surely the platform the game comes out on makes no difference to the actual game.

It does get you hankering for what Nintendo might be able to accomplish if they actually used more up to date tech though doesn't it? They must have reached a point by now where they can't do exactly what they want with their big IPs due to hardware limitations.

Maybe, but as the company has never been about bleeding edge tech I think more than any other developer tech doesn't mean that much to them.

Regarding the game itself I'll be happy if the motion stuff works and doesn't distract from the game.

Just got an email to say that they are putting up the cost of my subscription nearly 10% per quarter to £10.92. A saving of 5% per cent on the current price apparently. However in this months mag the subs page states that the price of a new subscription is £8.99 a quarter?! What's that all about?

Someone's getting a phone call from Mr I Rate of Falkirk tomorrow.
