Are these things made entirely for the viral quality, or is this footage from a 3 year-old who hasn't quite grasped the concept of combining two different moves?

I really don't get it. Has the guy literally never played a video game before? That is utterly embarrassing.

I've never heard of the guy but he claims to have been a games/technology journalist for 25 years.

Watching a podcast where he is being ripped to shreds. Turns out he reviewed Mass Effect 1 and gave it a very harsh score because he forgot to assign talent points to his characters.

Amended it later though.

I didn't pay attention to all the Talent Points I was accumulating after every encounter. Those points just sat there. They were waiting for me to assign them to specific character trait improvements...A lot of positive effects flowed from this expanded repertoire in game play.

How the fuck is this guy paid to review games?

Here's the original review.

Just another funny made about it I found on twitter :)

The worse thing that sprung to my mind is someone looking at his footage, seeing that he is a game's writer and maybe thinking the controls have some input lag or are shit and that's why he was so bad at doing the jump. As they expect someone to have at least better than average gaming skills if they are writing reviews on them. Just my thoughts on it.

I thought it was a weird shadow, but he appears to have a neck-goatee. Also he's playing on tourist like a little bitch.

This was the only thing shown so far in the VG awards that had me interested.

Good on Cuphead winning some awards after the bollocks tossed at the dev's. And that Hellblade got some loving too :)

Also best bit of the show is near the end where the guy with jet lag just stole the show with his rants :D
