Let's Replay...

Postby NightShade » Tue Mar 18, 2008 6:25 pm

...something.

Am bored, have a couple of weeks spare ahead. Someone suggest something to play. I may, or may not, choose to play it, probably not as I tend to be in the mood for some things and not others ¬.¬

I bet you can't play Crusaders of Might and Magic for more than 20 minutes.

Well I'm desperate to replay the following at the moment, but I lack the time. So feel free to live my dream for me.

Freelancer
Oni
Giants
Beyond Good and Evil
Tribes Vengeance
BG2

I get depressed my favourite games will never get follow ups.

I'm quite confident that BG&E will eventually get a sequel.

Now that Bungie are their own masters again, it wouldn't surprise me if this was their next project.

Oni was one of those games I loved but was still young enough to not be a competent gamer and as such got stuck trying to rush to disarm bombs in a building. However, the fact that I played it up to that so many times speaks volumes for the game.

In relation to this thread, I might give Beyond Good and Evil a whirl. It's a game I've always meant to play but never got around to it. A bit like Psychonauts, only played that for the first time either late last year or early this year.

It still holds up today then? Assuming it was the first time you played it and you weren't corrupted by nostalgia ¬.¬
