So this is pish then eh?

Jesus Christ Raimi, why did you think it was a good idea to show what the demon chase looked like? Especially when it looked like THAT! :(

Yeah, I've been really enjoying it.

The daft stuff is just .. Daft. The rule about deadites needing their head cut off only to have one still be alive later just so someone can stamp on the head. And the Chase being a dust cloud that possesses people... *shrugs*

I think canonically, you can take whatever you like from it. It's pretty much on the same level as the fanfic comics you can get where he's fighting Jason Voorhees. If you mentally separate it from the films, it's easier. In this version, even though it uses clips from ED1 & 2, just assume bad shit happened in the cabin and Ash went home WITH NO CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION TO WHY HIS GIRLFRIEND DIED.

I'm not sure Lucy Lawless's character adds up either as she's, like, nearly 50... That would put her as being about 20 when her 20-odd year old mum died in ED2. >_>

Still really enjoying this, better than I ever expected it to be. Still has it's flaws, bit on the slow side at times and each episode feels too short. The practical effects are great, the past 2 episodes have been ramping up the gore. That ceiling fan..

Season 2 was a good laugh, very enjoyable. Has a couple of ropey episodes but on the whole it was solid.

The gleeful use of OTT gore is amazing.

The second season of this is over now and it was a great show. I'd recommend anyone who hasn't seen it to give it a punt, as I mentioned before there are a few iffy episodes but as a whole it was quality. Bruce Campbell looks like he had a blast making it and it shows in his performance. And then there's the ridiculous, bucketfuls of gore, fucking legend

Found season 1 more fun, more interesting, and generally better than season 2.

Still enjoyable though.
