That's the world of Social Media for you -- a grand stage where everyone's half-baked, poorly-educated, unsolicited opinions matter more than everyone else's.

It really does feel like one of those films were downloading it, watching it and then deleting it immediately seems like a good option...

Did you laugh at the trap window but wolfy? I think it was the only part that made me snigger. More of a hot shots gag than a ghostbusters one though, especially with Hemsworths line.

I'll be honest. I didn't laugh at any point. Every single joke just fell flat.

I really wanted to like it but it was absolute garbage. Even if you ignore that aspect of it and approach as a scary action schlock film... The pacing and story were horrendous and fails there.

I nearly walked out.

Ok the Kermode review just got me really angry. Not his review exactly as he was pretty lukewarm on it but every letter that sung its praises was met with "oh what an intelligent person you are" where they seemed to pick up the most neanderthalic idiot for the negative one.

I just listened to that Kermode review and then listened to Angry Joe one:

It seems it boils down to how light you want your comedy and whether you care about Ghostbusters.

Can't help but have a knee jerk reaction to seeing a bunch of men dressed up as Ghostbusters getting "angry" about a film.
I mean, I don't doubt the film is a bit naff, but that's just embarrassing.

You're not allowed calm, rational discussion on the internet. Especially not on Youtube.

I've been following his previews leading up to release. He was actually trying to be balanced for a lot of it and admitted that he was hoping that it would be good as he's a big fan of the franchise. He certainly didn't go in already wanting to hate it.
My face is tired.
