Yeah that was decent, better than a fair few of the Grand Tour episodes. Not 100% sure about the long guest bit, James McAvoy looked like a bit of a gooseberry at times.

I honestly didn't realise they were still making it :/

Haven't watched any TG or TGT for at least a couple of years now...

LeBlanc was one of the reasons I stopped watching, particularly after they paired him with Evans (with whom he seemed to have zero chemistry), but frankly the reason for Clarkson's termination and the first few episodes of The Grand Tour completely soured me to this concept anyway.

End it now. They were already flogging a dead horse when Clarkson and co left. Now it's decomposed to the point where even the flies aren't interested.

I started watching S2 of TGT a week or so ago but it still as dull as the first season. Overly set up hijinks and flat jokes. It feels way less natural when (I guess) the BBC were holding the reigns as opposed to amazon chucking money at them.

I must admit I enjoy both. I like Chris Harris a lot, having been a /Drive subscriber for years. I also felt that the chemistry between Harris, LeBlanc and the black chap (whose name escapes me) was starting to gel with their characters coming out, rather than trying to squeeze into a Clarkson/May/Hammond mold.

The obvious choice for me is to keep the remaining two presenters who both work, and bring in Steve Coogan as the main host. Job done.

To give an example, here is a TG review of the new Civic Type R versus the old one. Really enjoyable for any petrolhead, with Chris Harris presenting. 'Old' Top Gear/TGT - well you would never actually take any of their opinions seriously when buying a car yourself because they were idiots. Fun but idiots. This for me is fun and informative at the same time.
