Nah, Lord Sugar, Claude and Karen throwing some shapes in a fancy nightclub clutching the most expensive booze on the planet. Just have footage of that underneath the end credits.

Something seemed a little odd with Michaela in that episode. Like she wasn't fussed either way, along with some awkward responses to questions about her other businesses.

Although in theory she has the best business credentials out of all 5, I can see why Sugar gave her a wide berth.

I wonder if her undisclosed business was something with a red flag against it.

Yeah, got that impression with Michaela as well... quickly went from pulling for her to win to actually disliking her a bit on the basis of her attitude throughout. Still can't believe he kept the sweets lady in, though.

I will admit I got a small kick out of Elizabeth having strips torn off her, she really did my head in throughout. Claude describing it as a trauma watching her take over every task was great

Bit of a damp squib there. :|

Spoiler: show
Seems to me they were both pretty poor investments, so they artificially made them both out to be amazing in the boardroom, despite all the evidence suggesting otherwise. It's small change for Sugar, and making them joint winners keeps people talking about it I guess.

Eh. There's been some entertaining bits here & there this series, so it's been watchable enough overall.

Funny you should say that, it was the first final that I rewound on iPlayer, stay off the net for the spoiler but let's just say Sugar doesn't deliberately record two endings for nothing.

My only prob this series was the wasted editing which could have gone into more interview pain in the penultimate episode, they did go a bit soft on them except for the one interviewer from the media agency that ripped everyone to bits. Besides the winners Elizabeth is this year's memorable candidate but at least it wasn't just for good telly reasons that she got to the final five.

The final was a waste of an hour, frankly, and I'm not just talking about the result. Usually the last episode has the two finalists finally looking competent and generally confident, but it just felt like another task to me. They made the same mistakes as ever, and while the two pitches at the end looked reasonable, there were so many mistakes in the marketing material that they may as well have been given the task just before they started as per a usual week, rather than them having entered the competition with this task in mind.

And had no-one even given a second's thought to a brand name before entering the competition?

I know, neither one of them. Lunacy.

I had a good name for the IT one after about five seconds when they were faffing about for the best part of the day: RecruIT. Job done.

I was just amazed none of them realised 'first tier' is basically the lowest rung of the ladder. I don't know what it is, there just seems to be a real lack of common sense/knowledge. On a fundamental level.
