Having been tipping Alana for a while, not entirely sure about her business plan but she's been one of the better candidates throughout, even though others for some reason often ignored her.

And, um, Courtney. Um.

Claude mockingly imitating him to his face was my highlight of the series.

It was good, but hit me just after that Claude actually rates him and was trying to help him out. Pushed for him in the boardroom and looked like a proud dad when he made it to the final!

I just don't see it myself. Sure, his record in the tasks (in terms of wins) was good, but I can't think of any where his was the telling contribution, in fact most of the time he looked like one of the weaker links in whatever team he was on, and was fortunate they ended up winning.

Wow I'm surprised Alana made it to the final after her breakdown early on.

Agreed. He strikes me as a sickly, gormless waif who has stumbled into the final through sheer dumb luck. He looks like he could use a hot meal.

So I haven't watched this at all this year, but I just caught something on Facebook about one of the contestants who has been fired. Frances Bishop was actually in my year at my primary and secondary school.

Funny how you forget that some people exist entirely.

Since then she's actually been really good. Has been the voice of reason on most tasks, but for some reason the others have generally ignored her, and she's always been right. Pleased she's made the final.

That's pretty cool. She was actually one of my least favourite contestants this year

Right decision made, pleased for her. Going into the plastic tat business would have been ludicrous.

Yeah, the right person won. Still, I gained respect for Courtney for handling that presentation surprisingly well.

New series starts Tuesday.

Yes, the format is as tired and ropey as LordS'rAlan's shaved wrinkly scrotum but we'll all still be watching, then slagging them off afterwards. It's all part of the fun.

Here are the latest bunch of reality/celeb TV hopefuls, er, I mean business entrepreneurs:

I'm sure they're devastated.

It's wednesday it starts, not tuesday. Episode 2 is on friday.
