Yeah it's been a solid series all round. My one gripe with the newest one is, as funny as it was, nobody would try and pick up a vending machine that way while being on top of it. It would've made more sense if he was somehow stuck to it.

Other than that, it was a sold episode that felt in keeping with the first couple of series in intimacy.

Best episode of the series, and it was the last one. :(

I was on the edge of my seat and told my fiancée to shush because I thought we were going to get the answer >.<

Also, sad news about Peter Wragg :( His passing was never in the news as far as I recall.

Yeah, I didn't know either. :(

I really do like how he's chose not to.. You know. :D

Spoiler: show
It's our Rimmer... But he's never explaining that shit... ever! My theory is that he's pulled a "Sliders "and had the old Rimmer dimension jump into the new one and have 'em merged. >_>

I've kind of a little bit forgotten how the whole plot developed, but could it not be the case that Rimmer simply just....died and then was re-animated as the hologram? Although that theory's thrown out by the assertion he died 'once' before in the latest episode? Still no idea how the other guys could've been saved from the mirror universe. Unless we're in it now. Or something. It's not worth pondering about >.<

Nah, ya see, this one knows of the despair squid. Doug Naylor mentions it and it's intentional so the story of WTF happened is yet to (or won't) be told.

It is possible that they aren't paying too much attention to continuity.

The crowd were definitely Dwarf fans when you heard them groan at the *SHUSH* bit ;)

It's been a pretty good return for the show and the cast and crew deserve huge credit for reviving an old show and managing to capture a lot of the original show's magic.

Got my DVD (recorded off the telly by my dad) today, just watched eps 2 and 3, great stuff.

Sooo much better than Back to earth or series 7.
My face is tired.

Was seeing criticism that Red Dwarf was a shuffling reanimated corpse and they should stop making them. What? Why? Red Dwarf X was one of the better entries. They can get bloody stuffed. :(
