Getting increasingly into Veep the more I watch it... partly familiarity with the characters, but I think it's also unquestionably getting better as well. Finished the second season last night and tellingly was disappointed I didn't have the third to hand to dive into straight away.

Arrested Development season 4.

Love love love the first three seasons, but this is painful viewing. Not quite Joey painful, but close. On the third episode and struggling to find the will to continue.

Yeah it's so bad, totally misses what made the previous series so great. I think I watched two episodes and then gave up.

I got a bit behind, but just finished watching the latest season of Halt and Catch Fire - highly recommended - i still love this show! :D

Also watched the first episode of a French series - Le Bureau des Legendes / The Bureau - bit of a slow start, but it has some promise i think. I'll add another comment after i've watched a few more episodes.

The ending of season 3 of Halt is excellent. Cannot wait for the final 4th season. Really like Lee Pace

True - it should be interesting.

H&CF is an interesting show - i need to be in a certain frame of mind to really enjoy it, but it's absolutely ace when you are! And Lee Pace is indeed fantastic!

Still watching the bureau - i'm quite enjoying it. Has the tension of Homeland without the over americanisation.

Taboo

Almost finished this. It is really very good. It reminds me a lot of the video game Dishonored (maybe because I just finished it) and I do like the fact the East India Company are the baddies. One of Tom Hardy's best roles.

Aye, I couldn't get enough of it, nice and juicy. They are doing a second series too.

Another one worth checking out is Six, very good first season so far.

Z Nation

I watched the first season of this on Netflix. It's Syfy Channels answer to The Walking Dead I suppose but with a much smaller budget. I actually really enjoyed it, it's no where near as dour as TWD and the characters are likeable. The acting is iffy in places and the cgi is basic but the zombies themselves are well done and all practical effects (some great novelty OTT kills in it). It doesn't take itself seriously and knows its dumb, which is half the appeal. If you can make it through the first few crap episodes it's worth a look.

(Being discovered by a stalking zombie after one of your group let's a nervous fart go was never in TWD  )

So...anyone watching Samurai Jack S05?
Retained the visual style from the old show but in widescreen HD. It looks bloody brilliant, and the fights are really quite something. Two episodes are out now.

Anyone with Prime might want to check out Oasis. It's only a pilot episode but it's pretty damned good. It's set near future in a similar vein to Interstellar it even has that amazing organ space music thing going on. It's got a slightly British drama feel to it BUT it's also kinda cool in the way that say Westworld is. Mark Addy is in it also. I felt it was well worth 59 minutes of my time.
