Ach, we need an Arnie appreciation thread damnit! The terminator thread was weak..... The man is nigh on single handledly responsible for the action genre being f'kin pwn! (Bruce Wiillis had a small hand in it too).... and is the current champion for one liners that even Bruce Campbell has yet to better. Even his bad action movies were good - well True Lies was (admitadly Eraser and 6th day were less so ¬_¬)

Running Man!
Commando!
Terminator!
Predator!
Total Recal!
Conan!

Favorites? Quotes? Stills? One liners? GIVE US THEM ALL! :D

"Sonic deadline"

Running Man is my fav. Its just sooo perfect. Its set in a future that although technology has evolved, the 80's never ended. Yellow jumpsuits, big hair and crappy synth music lives on! Perhaps Commando narrowly pips it on the one liners (its verrrrry lose), Running Man just has the whole package of wonderous wonderment.

'Let off some steam, Bennett.'

Arnie ftw. I thought that Eraser and 6th Day were top notch cheesey films, they were great. True Lies was pretty damn funny too. 'You're fired!' *Boom*.

I really love Bruce Willis' one-liners, but if I have to think of an Arnie one...well....there are so many, but the one from Eraser...

After killing an alligator...

"You're luggage!"

Kills me every time. And Total Recall had some great ones too.

In which movie did he take down the plane with a Desert Eagle while parachuting? Now that was ace! Oh and the first scenes of Commando are brilliant where Arnie carries some logs and runs on a beach with his little girl.

Cindy: You steal my car, you rip the seat out, you kidnap me, you ask me to help you find your daughter which I very kindly do, and then you get me involved in a shoot out where people are dying and there's blood spurting all over the place, and then I watch you rip a phone booth out of a wall, swing from the ceiling like Tarzan, and then there's a cop that's going to shoot you and I save you and they start chasing me. Are you going to tell me what's going on or what?
Matrix: No.

Total Recall.

Wife: You wouldn't hurt me, would you? Sweet heart, be reasonable. After all, we're married!

Arnie shoots her.

Arnie: Consider that a divorce.

Arnie's the best.

My favourite line of his is:

"Your clothes - give zem to me. Now!" from the Terminator. ^_^

That was on the other night. Fantastic film. The 'I'll be back' scene always cracks me up.

Infact. When I was young that film used to scare the living shit out of me. A lot more than T2 did. T2 wasn't even scary actually.

Best in Terminator was the (cant remember the exact quote)
"45 with the laser sight"
"great choise, bullet goes right where the red dot points you cant miss! Anything else?"
"Phased plasma rifle"
"Uhm... I just got what you see buddy"

Then he loads the shotgun and blows the store owner to shit! That was sad, good actor he is. I don't like watching good actors have their characters killed off.

ARNIE: You're a funny man, Sully, I like you. That's why I'm going to kill you last.

...

...

...

ARNIE: Remember, Sully, when I promised to kill you last?

Sully: That's right, Matrix. You did.

ARNIE: I lied.

(Throws him over a cliff.)
